چکیده
Wave plasma sources (WPSs) were first proposed in the 1970s for electric propulsion (EP), and these research development processes culminated flight test 2021 of WPS-based thruster REGULUS. Recently, new approaches to WPS use have emerged—multiple schemes EPs that can generate propelling forces multiple directions within a single head, regarded as breakthrough technology in-space systems (PSs). One concepts is bi-directional wave based on open-ended gas discharge chamber—the symmetrical system. Up now, WPSs chambers not been widely studied. In this paper, flow formed by chamber was axially characterized using retarding potential analyzer (RPA), Langmuir probe (LP), optical emission spectroscopy (OES). The presence double-layer (DL) confirmed drastic change along axis, specific impulse 1100 s indirectly measured. measurement results show efficient operations.

Optical emission spectroscopy and Langmuir probe diagnostics of CH3F/O2 inductively coupled plasmas
A CH3F:O2 (50%:50%) inductively coupled discharge, sustained in a compact plasma reactor, was investigated as a function of power (20–400 W) and pressure (9–30 mTorr), using optical emission spectroscopy and Langmuir probe measurements. The electron density increased linearly with power but only weakly with pressure. The effective electron temperature was nearly independent of power and pressur...
متن کاملDiagnostics of Organic Compounds by Optical Emission Spectroscopy
This work is focused on the optical emission spectroscopy observations of the DC non-pulsed diaphragm discharge in various water solutions of selected organic dyes (Direct Blue 106 and Solvent Yellow 94), a mixture of humic acids and alkaline metals. The emission intensity dependencies of hydrogen and oxygen spectral lines on initial conductivity are studied and compared also with respect to th...

This contribution is focused on the optical emission spectroscopy observations of the DC non-pulsed diaphragm discharge in various water solutions. The emission intensities of the hydroxyl radicals and the atomic lines of some selected elements are investigated. We have also studied the influence of the experimental conditions (for example of the applied high voltage and the discharge power, pH...
متن کاملStudy of Plasma System by OES (Optical Emission Spectroscopy)
Low-temperature and low-pressure plasma was investigated by OES (optical emission spectroscopy) in the range 200–1100 nm. For displaying measured emission spectra and identification of spectrum lines the software Spectrum Analyzer was used. Two modes of glow discharge present in the DC cylindrical magnetron apparatus which were previously researched by a mass spectrometer were studied by OES. T...
